چکیده
In this study, natural convection in a fluid-filled rectangular enclosure is analyzed using COMSOL? commercial software. The fluid which takes place dielectric liquid called FC-75. Attached to one of the vertical walls an array protrusions, each representing computer chips mounted on printed circuit board. nominal power consumed by chip assumed be 0.35, 1.07, 1.65, and 2.35 W. This corresponds exactly values used experiments, were performed once author study. results experiment numerical study are shown as Nusselt numbers vs. Rayleigh numbers, both being most important dimensionless parameters convection. A comparison has that COM-SOL? can achieve reliable similar problems, eliminating need build expensive experimental set-ups spending time conducting experiments. simulation aimed designs electronic circuits confined spaces.

Melting Heat Transfer Analysis on Magnetohydrodynamics Buoyancy Convection in an Enclosure: A Numerical Study
The roll of melting heat transfer on magnetohydrodynamic natural convection in a square enclosure with heating of bottom wall is examined numerically in this article. The dimensionless governing partial differential equations are transformed into vorticity and stream function formulation and then solved using the finite difference method (FDM). The effects of thermal Rayleigh number (Ra</em...
متن کاملA Numerical Modeling for Natural Convection Heat Transfer in Porous Media With Generated Internal Heat Sources
In this paper a numerical method is used to study the unsteady state natural convection heat transfer within a confined porous media with uniform internal heat generation. The governing equations based on the Darcy model and Bossiness approximations are solved, using the finite difference Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI) method. The developed program was used to simulate natural convection ...

The buoyancy-driven fluid flow and heat transfer in a square cavity with partially active side walls filled with Cu-water nanofluid is investigated numerically. The active parts of the left and the right side-walls of the cavity are maintained at temperatures Th and Tc, respectively, with Th>Tc. The enclosure’s top and bottom walls, as well as, the inactive parts of its side walls are kept insu...

Natural convection in a square enclosure having two wavy vertical walls is studied. An enclosure is filled with fluid-saturated porous media. A cavity is heated spatially on bottom wall while remaining walls are maintained at lower temperature. The objective of this study is to examine the flow field, temperature distribution and heat transfer inside the cavity when values of Darcy number, Rayl...

Mixed convection of Cu-Water nanofluid is studied numerically in a shallow inclined enclosure by applying lattice Boltzmann method. The D2Q9 lattice and internal energy distribution function based on the BGK collision operator are used in order to develop the thermal flow field. The enclosure's hot lid has the constant velocity of U0 while its cold lower wall has no motion. Moreover, sidewalls ...
